We are excited to announce the arrival of a new hardcover book that highlights the history, culture and cuisine of the Lone Star state. The book is titled Texas Cooking and offers an overview of the state’s diverse culinary offerings, complete with recipes and stunning photographs.

Texas Cooking is a travel cookbook, and is organized into seven sections, based around the seven regions of the state. Texas communities tell their stories through photos and recipes within the pages of the book, giving readers incentive to travel around the state and enjoy the many and varied tastes of Texas.
Many TTIA members are represented within its pages.

of the Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Texas Cooking
takes you to places throughout Texas, tempting you with cuisine
you'll find only in the Lone Star State.”
World-class chefs from the top restaurants in Texas shared recipes for some of their trademark dishes, and there are also contributions from several famous Texans.
