TTIA recognizes the need for quality education and training in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry. The mission of this program is to provide college students with the opportunity to secure and actively participate in internships that will provide them with viable employment experiences in their majors or field of interest, thus expanding their employment marketability, career choices and leadership capabilities.

The annual TTIA Scholarship is for students who are currently enrolled in an accredited Texas college/university as an undergraduate or graduate student and have a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must be an employee or immediate family member of an employee of a TTIA member organization. A minimum of five Scholarships in increments of $1,000 will be awarded annually. The application process includes an application form, as well as a current resume, two letters of recommendation, official transcripts and a 250 word essay.
