Tourism professionals from across the Southwest convene for one week on the campus of Texas State University for an intensive curriculum of tourism marketing courses. This is designed as a 3-year program, with returning students taking 2nd and 3rd year classes in consecutive years.

Travel & Tourism College professors are experienced industry professionals who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom. The schedule is packed from start to finish with classes, discussion groups and networking events.


Upon successful completion of the 3-year program, graduates will receive a certificate as a "CERTIFIED TOURISM EXECUTIVE" (CTE).

Tuition Rates
Full tuition rate includes course materials, a private bedroom in a dormitory quad-suite, breakfast and lunch in the campus dining hall, and dinner on nights with evening events.    
  • $850  - Earlybird rate (Extended!  On or before 4/29/11)     
  • $950  - Regular rate (after 4/29/11)
Note: Must cancel by Wednesday, June 1st to receive a refund.

If you prefer to stay off-campus, your tuition will be reduced by $150 and you are responsible for obtaining your own housing during the conference. Meals are still included.

Dorm Information

Dorm accommodations are Quad Suites
The dorm rooms are furnished with basic furnishings.  Participants staying in the dorm must bring their own linens for a twin size bed, towels, a lamp for the desk (if so desired), etc.  Internet access will be provided and available in each dorm room.
