Google Learning Lab

Google’s Learning Lab is an educational offering like no other designed exclusively for TTIA members tasked with marketing their destinations (DMOs), including CVBs, Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Corporations, Regional Marketing Organizations, and State Agencies.

DMOs have a unique position as the primary drivers of leisure and business travel. However, as technology is changing consumer behavior, consumer behavior is changing everything, including the travel inspiration process. As a result, DMOs need to be ready to follow consumers online, where travelers seek out more and more of their interactions and information.

Google will share insights into:

1. Engagement and consumer behavior changes

2. Measurement and insights in calculating ROI for destinations

3. Mobile 2.0 and How to interact with travelers across technology platforms

In addition, attendees to this special DMO educational opportunity will also learn the Value of Co-ops. Cooperative opportunities can stretch your budget and allow you to target audiences that may have been outside your budget reach. Speakers from TTIA, Madden Media, Texas Tourism and Texas Department of Transportation will explain the many ways you can participate in the various cooperative opportunities available on any budget.

DMOs, or Destination Marketing Organizations, include CVBs, Chambers, EDCs, Regional Marketing Orgs, and State Agencies.
