About the Travel Fair
The TTIA Texas Travel Fair, an annual trade show for TTIA members
only, is held as part of the Texas Travel Counselors Conference sponsored
by the Texas Department of Transportation - Travel Information Division.
The travel counselors who attend this event work at Texas Department
of Transportation Travel Information Centers, AAA offices, Visitor Centers,
Texas Parks and Wildlife offices, and Texas Highways magazine. These
professionals give guidance to more than four million Texas travelers
each year. As part of the training for travel counselors, TTIA members
are invited to discuss their destinations, attractions or events during
the conference and at the Texas Travel Fair. Registration includes activities
designed to put you face-to-face with travel counselors during workshops,
the trade show and informal settings.

Join the Texas Travel Counselors for an evening of fun! We will start with a buffet
dinner and then watch the Corpus Christi Hooks play against the Midland RockHounds.
Game starts at 7:05pm.
(1 motorcoach will pick up at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel at approximately 6:00pm.
Another motorcoach will arrive after dropping off the Travel Counselors shortly after, and
both will return for a final pick up.)
(Motorcoaches will pick up at the Whataburger Field at 7:30pm, 9:00pm, and end of
game-approximately 10:15pm only to return everyone to the hotel.)

Decorator Information
Lone Star Decorating, LP is the decorator for this event. Booths will include the following:
- 8' tall back drape
- 3' tall side drapes
- 1- 8' skirted table
- 2 chairs
- 1 - ID sign with the booth name (if registration received in TTIA office by April 20th)
- 1 waste basket
If you need to order additional furniture, electricity, etc. or arrange shipping, you will need to work
with the decorator. Exhibitor packets with this information will be available soon on our website
and sent to you by mail. If you'd like to contact the decorator directly, please call them at 806-762-4112.
Sponsorship Opportunities
$250 Travel Fair Sponsorship - Stand out while helping us provide the
travel counselors with the best possible experience during their
conference. A Travel Fair sponsorship is a convenient and special way
to show your appreciation to the travel counselors who direct visitors
to your area. Just check the $250 Sponsorship box on the Travel Fair
registration form.
$60 Bed Down Gift Sponsor - Show your special appreciation for TxDOT's
hard-working travel counselors. Be sure to participate in the 19th
Annual "Bed Down With Texas" program. Each year, we take a carefully
selected gift item, turn the counselor's beds down and place the gift
on their pillow. They will discover the gift package upon returning to
their room after their daily study tours. Attached to the gift item
will be a "Sponsorship" card listing every participant's name. Even if
you are not able to attend the Travel Fair, you can still participate
in the Bed Down program. Just check the Bed Down box on the Travel
Fair registration form.
