(Austin, TX), May 6, 2016 – The Texas Travel Industry Association (TTIA) announced today its endorsement of Representative Doug Miller in his re-election run-off race for House District 73. District 73 is comprised of Comal, Gillespie, and Kendall Counties.
“Residing in an area with a thriving travel & tourism industry, Chairman Miller understands the importance of this industry, not only to the Fredericksburg, Boerne and New Braunfels area, but to the state as a whole,” said David Teel, TTIA’s President and CEO.
“Representative Miller has an impressive history of strong, consistent leadership, a pro-business voting record and strong commitment to and support of the Texas travel industry, including serving as the Vice-Chair of the Texas Legislative Tourism Caucus,” Teel added. “We are extremely proud to recognize Chairman Miller for his leadership and positive influence on policy and legislation critical to our industry.”
