THE TALL IN TEXAS AWARD
The Tall in Texas Award is presented to an individual nominated from the membership for their outstanding contributions to the Texas travel and tourism industry and to TTIA.
TALL IN TEXAS AWARD CRITERIA
Please read the following criteria before submitting the nomination form to the TTIA Office.
Must be a TTIA member or an employee of a TTIA member organization.
Nominee should be an industry professional whose commitment to and influence upon travel and tourism has changed the face of the industry on a local, regional or state-wide level. The recipient’s history of involvement with the Texas Travel Industry Association, experience and contributions to the Texas travel industry, and demeanor should exhibit the highest degree of professionalism, dedication and hospitality.
Additional Criteria for selection include:
TTIA member or an employee of a TTIA member organization.
Nomination and Selection Details:
All nominations will be kept confidential. The nomination form and any supplemental information submitted by the nominator will be the only factors considered in the selection process. A selection committee will review those documents and choose the Tall in Texas recipient.
Nominations must be submitted on an official TTIA nominations form with examples of the nominee’s qualifications. Nominations may also be submitted by using the official Nominations Form. Additional materials may be faxed or emailed to Jennifer Roush, Senior Director of Operations, at email@example.com or fax 512-478-9177.
Mailed/Emailed/Faxed nominations should be sent under confidential cover to the TTIA office in Austin.
The Tall in Texas Award is presented annually at the Texas Travel Summit Conference.
